range boards
-make DDS main focus of boards
-amy is kinda weird
-plain singlets on top
-first board with all 5 skirts
ORGANISING ELEMENTS
-all elements apply to graphic design (line, shape, direction, size, colour, texture)
-determine visual character
-text, graphics, etc
GROUNDING
-something to pull it all together e.g. a line
COLOUR
-a mid-grey background can do wonders for legibility
-no blue, preferably, its a funny colour
-consider colour of text
-never use blue for text, EVER
boards need to have one common redeeming feature, they need to be consistent
6 boards, visual diary, fabric feelers
each board: DDS, range drawing, description, style number and name

take me out tonighttttt
so have been really slack with blogging - but i have to say that uni takes up a crap load of my time.
have been crazy with assignements, the latest one being concept boards for "architectonic".
have been crazy with assignements, the latest one being concept boards for "architectonic".
3 things i have learnt from this assignment:
1. you have to be extremely proactive, find out what you have to do, its not like school where you are fed the information - DAMN!
2. Time is the key. Be extremely organised with time, which is not my strong suit, but i guess I'll have to work on it if i want to be in fashion!
3. I'm not as bad at photoshop as i originally thought - it's not that hard to pick up. I just dont want to have to learn to use anything else. photoshop is enough!
Will post some pictures of my boards when i have my usb handy.
p.s. near death experience last night. scary.
